I am in charge of Super Saturday in my ward and found this cute idea online. Here is my attempt at one... What do you think? Instead of screwing in clips, I just painted clothes pins. I painted black dots on them to tie in with the black lettering and ribbon..
Here is the instructions for those in need of an easy craft while the kids are in school!
Refrigerator Relief
by Melanie Day
Does your refrigerator literally "sag" from all the papers, pictures and drawings your children or grandchildren give you?? Here is what you can do. Go to your local hardware store and buy a piece of baseboard trim. Then decide on the length. Do you want to put it all the way down your hallway in one piece? Or would you rather make three small sections of rows in one place on your wall? Once you're ready, paint it the color of your choice. Once dried, I took some sandpaper to it and "roughed" it up a little bit. Then you screw in the clips, making sure they are far enough apart. You can paint each child's names above their clip or not label them at all, your choice! Whala! You can admire their art and have a clutter free fridge!....the best of both worlds!
