Memorial Weekend in Sterling

Our newest family photo with the lovely town on Sterling in the background.

All the grandkids after a long Sacrament meeting. I am totally surprised we got such a good picture of most of them.

We went to Sterling for our Memorial weekend. We usually do every year and go boating but the weather didn't cooperate this year. We did have fun though! We got there Friday afternoon and enjoyed (well almost everyone enjoyed) the new flick Night at the Museum. The kids loved it! Then headed back and the cousins had a grand time chasing a goat, chicks, dogs, a puppy and each other. Saturday morning we headed to Ephraim for the parade. Our kids love it and to top it off each float throws handfuls of candy. Lets just say our sugar fix is covered for a while! Then we visited the vendors (booths) and I found Lil' sis the cutest dress and matching bandanna. (pics coming soon) We had our usual BBQ turkey meal with the bestest lemonade around. After a while, Lil' sis fell asleep and so we helped my mom and uncles clean up my Grandparents house. So sad. So many memories, but it needed to be done, right? That night we made a campfire and the kids made smores. It overall was a great weekend and the kids always have fun when we go.

Sterling is a little town in central utah- kinda near Ephraim and Manti. Does that help, jen?
